Innovative post-flight protocol.

8 februari 2024 - Amsterdam, Nederland

So when we landed at Port Elizabeth Airport and the plane stopped at it's parking slot, we were unaware of what was about to transpire. Instead of passengers scrambling to gain a place in the isle by standing all passengers remained seated. This due to to us an unbeknown protocol. The air hostess walked up the isle and stopped at row 6 facing to the rear of the plane. "Rows 1-5 may now disembark",  she said. Passengers in row 1-5 stood and collected their hand held luggage from the overhead compartments and left the aircraft. The stewardess then moved up 5 rows and this process was repeated.

What an innovation! I would be happy if other airlines would adopt the same protocol. Good on you!

Red eye flight.
